Jaipur, Dec 25 (NIE): A BJP MLA in Rajasthan has said that “if one engages in cow smuggling or slaughters a cow, he will be killed.”

Ramgarh MLA Gyan Dev Ahuja made the statement while speaking on the arrest of an alleged cow smuggler in Alwar district on Saturday. The man, identified as Zakir, was also allegedly beaten up severely by a mob before he was arrested.

“Mera toh seedha seedha kehna hai ki gautaskari aur gaukashi karoge to yu hi maroge (I will only say that if you smuggle and slaughter cows, then you will be killed),” he told reporters.

Ahuja refuted allegations that Zakir was beaten by the mob. “As the public was following the truck, it overturned, resulting in the injuries… Now he is saying that villagers beat him up. I have taken details of the case from the SHO. The people didn’t beat him. He was injured because the vehicle overturned.”

    Unfortunately our 'highly intelligent' voters mostly vote on 'emotional' issues, 'religion' being a major emotional issue. 56" knows this very well and is exploiting it to the maximum. That is why inspite of such high unemployment and very dull business in Gujarat due to demo and GST, the BJP with Modi's emotional bhashans were still able to limp across the finishing line ahead of the Congress. Of course EVMs also played a role, although a limited one.

A few channels are showing the minister say that the truck carrying cows overtured and cow smugglers injured in the accident and minister referring to it as a justice by god. While others are cutting short the interview until he says you will die like this.

I want this MLA to kill owners of beef exporters in Gujarat and other states who are slaughtering hundreds of cows on daily basis.
