Bellary: Ramanath Rai has hand in Deepak Rao's murder - Yeddyurappa

Bellary, Jan 4 (DHNS): BJP State President B S Yeddyurappa accused Dakshina Kannada district in-charge Minister Ramanath Rai of 'having a hand in the murder of Hindu activist Deepak Rao' in Mangaluru on Wednesday.

He was addressing a press meet before the Parivartana Yatre on Thursday.

Yeddyurappa pointed out that the law and order situation in the state had worsened. "Hindu activists are being murdered in the state as in Kerala. We will soon discuss this issue and act on it," he said.

He said the party had shortlisted 100 candidates for the upcoming polls after discussions with local leaders.
