Chikkamagaluru: Suicide of girl in Mudigere – BJP Yuva Morcha president arrested

Chikkamagaluru, Jan 8: relating to the murder of Dhanya (20) who ended her life on January 6, after allegedly threatened by Sangh Parivar activists, police in Mudigere have arrested Anil from BJP Yuva Morcha.

Anil is the president of Mudigere town unit of BJP Yuva Morcha.

Dhanya ended her life after her text arguments in WhatsApp chat with a person named Santosh, who opposed her love with a boy of different community. Santosh also shared this WhatsApp chat with others mainly members of Bajrang Dal.

Members of Bajrang Dal allegedly threatened Dhanya who subsequently ended life.

    Well, people in Mangaluru seems to be original Hindus, those from the rest of the places in the entire country seem to be converts.

    Else, why so much of reaction when their girls acquaint with men outside the community but its alright when girls from other communities come-in, its Ghar-vaapasi ? We saw a foreigner recently married to a Mangalorean. Why the local people did not drive her away citing love-jihaad ?

    You are not being sarcastic, or, are you ?

    If it wasn't for peaceful nature of the general public of Mangalore irrespective of religious affiliation, the city would have actually been on fire as the local MP wished.

    Yes, people ARE peace-loving. Its the Dal/Sanghs that attempt to stir the tranquility every now and then but so fare they have not been successful. Hope people will maintain calm in future too.

    Shoba has gone to Delhi to present another petition complaing about police harassment to BJP youth leader and other BJP workers while Nalin Kumari is camping in Udupi.
