Mangaluru: Mohtisham conferred ACCE (I) MLR-UltraTech award for ‘Ivory Tower’ project

Mangaluru, Jan 11: Mohtisham Complexes Pvt Ltd was conferred the prestigious association of Consulting Civil Engineering (India), ACCE (I) MLR-UltraTech award for its landmark project ‘Ivory Tower’ in a glittering programme at Milagres Centenary Hall on Tuesday, January 9.

Dr M Narendra, former chairman and managing director, Indian Overseas Bank and Nagesh Puttaswamy, regional head of Ultra Tech Cement presented the prestigious award which was bagged by Mohtisham Complexes Pvt Ltd, under the category ‘Well-built Concrete Structure (Multistory)’ to S M Sawood executive director Mohtesham complexes Pvt Ltd.



After the detailed verification of 200 entries from the four districts which are Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Chikkamagluru and Shivamogga a three-member jury declared ‘Ivory Tower’ which is situated at Falnir as the well built concrete building in region. Ivory Tower the multi-storey residential complex was built by Mohtisham Complexes Pvt Ltd on the occasion of its 25th anniversary of existence.

Anil Sebastian D’Souza, president, ACCE (I) Mangaluru chapter, Vijay Vishnu Mayya, president, ACCE (I) South, Chandramaulishwar, secretary, ACCE (I), were present on the dais.

Dr Narendra said, “I appreciate ACCE (I) and UltraTech on their efforts to encourage engineers and contractors by presenting such awards. The community of engineers needed something of this sort. Along with engineer and contractors, they recognized the project owners also today. This will help strengthen the relationship between engineers and people who own or want to own beautiful villas, apartments or and any structures.”

“Engineers are the backbone of any developing city or region. Their dreams are converted into landmarks of several regions. Infrastructure improvises the beauty of a city. But without the help of engineers, architects and contractors, it is difficult to convert any area’s infrastructure. I congratulate the award winners and wish them all success in their future projects,” he added.

Anil Sebastian D’Souza welcomed the dignitaries and gathering.

Prominent engineers, architects and contractors from the districts of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Shivamogga and Chikkamagluru were present.

    Congratulations and Best Wishes to Mohtisham Complex for the ACCE Ultra-Tech Award for the Ivory Tower Project. Although we have not physically seen the Ivory Tower Project, knowing the professional architectural and constructional performance of the past, we are confident that this will be another "state of the art" project that will change the sky-line of Mangalore Building complexes.

    Mohtisham family reputation in the design and construction jobs is magnificent, and this has been our sincere experience for decades of association with a highly reputable and trustworthy family who have contributed so much for the progress and prosperity of Mangalore.

    We wish Mangalore continued success in all the future architectural and constructional programs. So long as there is a hand of quality and integrity from Mohtisham Group all the rest of the success will automatically follow them because they place customer satisfaction before all the other priorities of their life. Credibility of the Teamwork of Mohtisham Group is extremely safeworthy, and with their professional hand of involvement nothing should go wrong.

    Best of luck to you Mr. Arshad and Mr. Saud. Look forward to seeing you all some time, although during my our last visit during November we spent more time with the Doctors and the hospitals.
