52 killed in Kazakhstan bus fire


Astana, Jan 18 (IANS): At least 52 people were killed on Thursday after a passenger bus travelling on a country road in western Kazakhstan caught fire, officials said.

Only five occupants of the vehicle managed to survive the tragedy, Efe news cited a spokesperson of the Kazakh Emergency Situations Committee as saying.
