Mangaluru: Provocative statement - Police register suo motu case against Jagadish Shenava

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Jan 31: The police have registered a suo motu case against VHP district president Jagadish Shenava for making provocative statements on Basheer murder case during a recent event.

In a book release ceremony on January 28, Shenava had said, "Basheer was killed in revenge to the murder of innocent Deepak Rao. So we do not have any concern for Basheer's death."

He had also said, "If Sharath Madivala could be killed to settle scores for the murder of Ashraf, then why Basheer should not be murdered as retribution for Deepak's killing?"

His statements drew flak from various quarters, with parties like the JD(S) and outfits like the PFI demanding his arrest.

On Tuesday January 30, the police registered a suo motu case under Sections 153 A and 116 of the IPC, with PSI of Mangaluru north police station Ananth Murdeshwar as the complainant.

dear shenava please go and learn hinduism .. what geetha says.. what you are doing !! When hindus organize any function there will be huge police protection many permissions etc.. When minorities organize any programs there will be few police force ..

The only difference is in our samajotsava we spread hat-redness in people .. people like you insist low caste to comitt crimes.. brain wash illiterates to attack other caste .. Instead of these if we follow the approach of other those minorities where they speak only about peace , charity etc we would have improved a lot...

Today those minority guys are reaching new heights however our youths are becoming goons and sleeping in bus stand after drinking one peg !!!

Time for all hindus to think positive and keep these creatures which trouble the society out of focus...
Let them spend their time in jail and so other Hindu youths can stay safe...

Police officers should take stringent action against anybody who gives provacative speeches, statements and instigate people. These type of communal leaders divided people and destroyed peace and harmony in Mangalore and in other parts of D.K./Udupi districts.Mangalore was a peaceful city once.Now...what happened? Who are responsible?

These kinds of provocative statements leads for more communal fights. Mangalore is lacking with communal harmony within the citizens of same country then what about Indians living in other countries to be treated as, its really shamefull when we stay out of mother country to read such news. To make a good future for next generation each person should stop such things, political power prevailing such differences between people of diff religion. Being Citizen of India vote the right candidature who can modify these differences to better India for our Kids and not corrupt nation.

Either he will search of a "rat-hole" to hide. Or, have a round table meeting with his pudaris to see how to get advantage of this situation by igniting a riot.

Thank god, police show some reaction. Irrespective of party, community, caste and organization, police must act as per their duty and show some respect for their own role and fill little confidence among citizens, who pay tax to run this country.

    INDIA OH INDIA.
You beautiful country , when will you flush these bacteria's out of your system. A natural calamity only to wipe out these infection would help.
A pill of education rather would help infuse the vitamin into these bacteria's.
Beware you men of filth , you treat god and religion as a business , hence there is no respect shown on the almighty.
Beware of those men , who are blessed with positive energy & are helping to build the nation as compared to you with only silt inside skull.

    Bro,,No Offense..Dont take it personally..If I have get a chance,sure i will do..This thugs they roam with security...

If they have guts, let them walk alone in the street. Then you see the result..Just put your self in place of mother and family who lost their innocent kids because of this thugs(whether it is hindu.muslim etc).

then you will come to know that pain....Iam proud to say that iam a hindu , for me humanity comes first in my life..when we are born in this world, we don't choose our parents ,religion etc. We just follow the customs what our elders follow. Only solution for this is we have to get together and give importance for humanity..Then only our society will improve. Our new generation will be in peace..Jai Hind, Jai Tulunadu...
