Mumbai, Aug 11: The co-operative banks union of the metro has presented the  30th annual award for excellence  to Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited, and R S Co-operative Bank, at a function held at Hotel City Point, Dadar T T, on Saturday, August 9.

Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) bagged the award for securing largest deposits while R S Co-operative Bank was recognized  for reaching almost Rs 200 crore.  The event was presided over by Purushottam M Mane., president, co-operative banks association.







Ashok R Chalke, vice-president of the association,  Satish Bhuta, chief executive officer , Nagesh K Povkar, convener, Pratibha D Patil , convener, and other office bearers were present. The award was received by  Jaya C Suvarna, chairman, Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai), in the presence of Vasudev R Kotian, deputy chairman,  and Gopal Jattan, chief manager and chief executive officer. 

Sadanand D Nayak, chief executive officer, R S Co-operative Bank, was given the award in  in the presence of directors Vittal D Nayak, and Mahendra T Nayak, as well as L Abhang, chief executive officer.
