New Delhi, Mar 29: The prime suspect in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) question paper leak case has been reportedly arrested by the Delhi police on March 29.

The mastermind has been identified as Vicky, owner of a Delhi-based Vidya coaching centre. Reports say that he had sold the quesion paper for Rs 10,000-15,000.

He is a graduate from Delhi University.

Currently he is under police custody and the probe team is questioning him in this regard.

The CBSE, which has been fending off complaints that some question papers had been leaked for days, cancelled the two papers on Monday.

The decision came hours after the Class 10 mathematics paper leaked and surfaced on social media also.

Following CBSE's announcement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to HRD minister Prakash Javadekar about the CBSE paper leaks and demanded strict action against the perpetrators.

One cannot run from student to student to deliver a QP - there has to be a path through which it got passed. What use is our technology ?

Hope Javdekar is not blaming 70 years for his inability to trace as to, to how many people the W/app image got delivered. When they ascertain that it did not go beyond a specific region, conducting re-exam to remaining centers is a futile exercise. And, it will bring some relief to stressed students who await to go on vacation.
