Police to Examine Contents of Raj Thackeray's Press Conference

Mumbai, Sep 8: Police on Monday said they would examine the contents of the press conference held by MNS leader Raj Thackeray who vowed to block release of movies featuring superstar Amitabh Bachchan and his family members to check if any action can be taken against him.

A senior police official said they would listen to tapes of the press conference to see if any action should be taken against the MNS leader.

The press conference was held prior to the police serving a gag order on Raj warning of action if he addressed public rallies or press conferences for the next one month.

Posters of Abhishek Bachchan, who is the brand ambassador for a telecom company, was torn in central Mumbai but police refused to confirm if MNS activists were involved in the incident.

    We had One Mahatma Gandhi who fought to throw out the Britishers out of India. Now we are having many Mahatma Gandhis born in each State to throw out Indians out of the respective State. Even God cannot save this Country.

    If Raj is not stopped now, he will be another Bal Thackeray in the making. I really don't know what is in the minds of people when they heed to the calling of political leaders who encourage them to resort to violence and damage to public properties?

    These leaders will sit and enjoy in the comfort of their air conditioned homes with crores of rupees in their kitty and the poor people who do not have such luxuries and money fight for these leaders. What a irony!

    Maharashtra Government are very weak with Raj Thackeray's. Government should take serious action against such dictator. Raj Thackeray's is thinking that, he is a King of Maharashtra and he can do whatever he like. Law is for every one. Such people like Raj Thackeray's should be banned to speak locally, and keep him in Jail for long term.
