New Delhi, May 24: With #FitnessChallenge and #HumFitTohIndiaFit being the new craze on social media, Indian Cricket team captain Virat Kholi challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to accept the fitness dare.

The person who accepts the dare has to nominate three people in order to complete the challenge along with a fitness routine video.

PM Modi who usually advocates healthy living, accepted the challenge on Twitter and has promised to share a video soon.

However, as soon as Modi accepted Kholi’s dare, he received another challenge from Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav who gave it a political twist.

“While we have nothing against accepting fitness challenge from @imVkohli . I urge you to accept the challenge to provide jobs to young, relief to farmers, promise of no violence against dalits & minorities. Would you accept my challenge @narendramodi Sir?” he tweeted.

The new challenge which moots for the India’s good governance caught up soon with Congress leader Randeep Surjewala taking a dig at BJP and putting forth five demands for better India, through a series of tweets.

Surjewala asked PM to restore economic fitness by reducing prices of petrol and diesel, restore job fitness, grant MSP fitness and give profit for India’s farmers, anti-corruption fitness by bringing back black money and national security fitness by stopping Pakistan sponsored terrorism and Chinese incursion in Doklam.

“Pl forego the media stunts and accept the ‘Governance’ challenge,” he tweeted.

The fitness challenge was started by Union minister and Olympian Rajyavardhan Rathore on Tuesday, who nominated Hrithik Roshan, Virat Kohli and Saina Nehwal. The #HumFitTohIndiaFit has taken social media by storm and the ‘governance’ challenge started by Yadav seems to be catching up.
