Vijayawada, May 29 (DC): TD president and AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu alleged that BJP president Amit Shah was interfering with the administrative affairs of the Centre and the AP government.

He questioned Mr Shah’s alleged attempt to involve himself in the state government issuing utility certificates (UC) for use of funds from Centrally sponsored schemes.

He claimed that Mr Shah was threatening the people in the name of technology. “The BJP chief is thinking that with the mobile data of 75 crore people across the country, he can do anything,” Mr Naidu said. He was addressing the party’s Mahanadu conclave here on the second day.

“Amit Shah is unnecessarily involving himself in administrative affairs, that too in the capacity of a party chief and member of Parliament,”Mr Naidu said. “Amit Shah was asking about utility certificates. What kind of UC does Amit Shah need for special status? What kind of UC do you need for the Rs 16,000 crore budget,” Mr Naidu said.

He questioned the funds sanctioned to Gujarat and to the Telugu states.

The BJP president was trying to threaten the people by stating that the party had the mobile phone data of 75 crore with it. “What do they do with the data? He wants to use technology in an adverse way,” Naidu alleged.

Mr Naidu focused his speech on Mr Amit Shah on Monday, after speaking agai-nst Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the first day.

It was noticed that Mr Naidu looked at his mobile phone at least thrice while on the dias, in the wake of TS TD leader Motkupally Narasim-hulu’s allegations against him.

He was seen speaking to a few TD senior leaders, apparently about the issue, and asked them to address it by sharing facts with the media.

Mr Naidu took utmost care to direct leaders against raising any caste-related issues at the Mahanadu.
