PM can talk to Pakistan, but not us: AAP leader Sanjay Singh

New Delhi, Jun 19 (IT): While the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) held a press conference at their headquarters, the IAS association reiterated the need of a formal invite for a meeting with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.

Right now, the IAS association lies at the centre of a huge stand-off between the elected government and the Lieutenant Governor, the Centre's representative. The association also said that they are being victimised in a political battle.

In the press conference, AAP leader Sanjay Singh said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not have time to talk to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
Singh said, "PM must talk to Kejriwal, he is an elected CM".

Delhi CM is ready, Delhi government is ready, but Centre isn't, added AAP leader.

CM Arvind Kejriwal had accused the Centre and the Lieutenant Governor of supporting the strike by IAS officers. Kejriwal government said that the IAS officers in Delhi had been ignoring calls and meetings with ministers for the last four months.

However, IAS officers have denied the allegations against them and said that the meetings were only avoided when the security was compromised. The IAS association claimed that they were physically and verbally abused by AAP ministers on Sunday during a press conference.

Singh also lashed out at PM Modi saying "he can talk to Pakistan but not us."

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been on a sit-in protest at Baijal's office along with Rural Development Minister Gopal Rai for more than a week now.
