Mangaluru: Fr Melwyn Pinto appointed director of St Aloysius Konkani Institute

Mangaluru, Jun 26: Dr (Fr) Melwyn Pinto SJ has been appointed as the new director of St Aloysius College, Konkani Institute.

Fr Pinto is a Konkani writer and hails from Neerude in Mangaluru taluk.

Currently, he is also the director of Community Radio Sarang 107.8 FM and HOD of department of Journalism and Mass Communication at St Aloysius College.

Fr Pinto did his Masters in Communication and Journalism from Mangaluru University and his PhD from Kuvempu University, Shivamogga.
