Bengaluru: Education department to withhold aid to schools that do not perform well

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (EP)

Bengaluru, Jun 29: The department of education has decided to withhold salary of teachers and lecturers in aided high schools and pre university colleges who have not performed well during the last five years.

“There are 3,795 aided high schools and 797 aided pre university colleges in the state. Thousands of teachers teach in them. As the schools and colleges are aided, the government releases funds for salaries. Teachers and lecturers allegedly do not conduct lessons properly. Therefore, their students secure less marks every year. Teachers are likely to wake up if the salaries are withheld.

The results in the state which have seen a downward trend spoil the standard of education and the future of children. It also causes loss to government treasury. Therefore, we will see the performance before releasing funds,” states a circular by the department of education.

Education Department cannot compel the teachers to make the students to beat and study.

It is none of your business.

TEACHERS ARE QUALIFIED AND IF NON PERFORMING TRANSFER THEM TO INTERIOR FAR AWAY FROM THEIR HOME TOWN.

THERE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN A MALIGNING AND REVENGE TYPE OF PUNISHMENT.

DON'T FOLLOW CHAAIWAALA STYLE OF PETTHA ADMINISTRATION.

    Mr. Gopi.
It is already happened. Please think of the scenario where sometimes salaries of teachers are not paid for two to three months, teachers are not allowed to cane or beat a trouble maker, such students are supported by even worse parents who are not ready to accept that their son is in the wrong. Worst of uneducated Ministers are in charge of these Departments. A recent news video is proof of the gaffe that the government is making. If you see the news you'll know that more than 75% of the youth from our colleges are being classified as Unemployable !!. And for your information a lot of private schools are owned by powerful people linked to politicians who manage to get good results and therefore put pressure on aided schools and government run schools to close down.

Teachers must teach well, of course.

But what if a student spends far too much time on social media? What is a teacher to do?

    It is a complex situation.
