Special Issue of ‘Akshaya’ Bulletin Released

Mumbai, Oct 13:
The special issue of ‘Akshaya’, a monthly publication by the Billava Association of the metro, was released on Saturday October 11. Veteran litterateur, columnist, and intellectual, Dr Baragur Ramachandrappa released the issue in a programme presided over by Billava Association president Jaya C Suvarna.
 
Dr Ramachandrappa, speaking on the occasion said that the bulletin went beyond the barrier of caste in providing quality reading in the metro. Ahmedabad-based entrepreneur Mohan C Poojary was the guest of honour. 


 
Dr G D Joshi, Dr Sunita M Shetty, Srinivas Jokatte, Tulasi Venugopal, printer of ‘Akshaya’, Narayan Shetty, artist Jaya Salian, and M S Rao, Ahmedabad, were honoured on the occasion. Association vice-president Y Nagesh, V R Kotian, honorary treasurer Bhaskar V Bangera, women’s division executive president Jayanti V Ullal, and Rajashree Baragur, were present on the dais.

Padmanabha Sasihitlu of Kala Sourab rendered the prayer.  Akshaya sub-editor Harish Hejmady, introduced the guests. Association honorary chief secretary Nityanand D Kotian, compered the programme.
