Mangalore, Oct 26: Mumbai's melody king Anthony Tauro staged his maiden music concert here in his native turf at Don Bosco Hall, to the packed audiences on Sunday October 26 evening.
 
Konkan Kogul Wilfy Rebimbus gracing the occasion said that Anthony Tauro has true musical talents in his genes that would take him to greater heights in the nearest future.  The first ever show of him in his native Mangalore had given the Konkani music buffs here an opportunity to relish his singing.  The music concerts during the last Diwali across Mumbai had honed his talents to stage the music extravaganza here.


















The songs Manglur and Ghadi Udela was sung by Anthony Tauro and his wife Suchita Tauro, it exemplified the longings of Mangalore and its culture among the Mangaloreans settled in the metropolitan city of Mumbai.
 
Gulfagarachi Dhu, Ye Moga Ye, Dublo Gresth, Maina, Mog Kone Dekla, Atra Jali Praai, Roopa, Laveena, Faizana, Rail Gaadi and Folka Dance were sung by the singers Suchita Tauro, Prakash Mahadevan, Prya D Cunha, Rony Crasta, Anita Samson, Blany D Costa and Carron Tauro that accompanied Anthony Tauro from Mumbai.



















'Country Soro' a short play depicting the traditional Mangaloren life in a far flung village in the undivided Dakshina Kannada district in the past, complete with delicious pork, enacted by Rony, Prakash and Blany.

Jerry Rasquinha and Joseph Pinto enacted some hilarious jokes and Coastal Konkans Entertainers entertained the gathering with their superb dance.  Stylish Geo Agrar beautifully compered the programme.
 
It was indeed the audiences thoroughly enjoyed their week-end at Anthony Tauro's musical night, a fast phased music kindling old memories among the old and newness to youngsters and children.

Sure to be grateful for your up-coming a small video presentation.
