7.5 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Indonesia, Tsunami Warning Issued

WASHINGTON, Nov 16: A major 7.5-strength earthquake jolted the region of Sulawesi, Indonesia, the US Geological Survey reported on Sunday. 

The quake struck 136 kilometers (84 miles) from Gorontalo, Sulawesi, Indonesia, at a depth of 21 kilometers (13 miles), the center said.

Officials have issued a tsunami warning.
