As Mr.Santhosh suggested if Muttulakshmi was planning to contest elections, it could be genuine case of a "political elimination" by local politician. We all know politicians these days encourage religious rivalry, groupism, support terrorist groups/anti nationals etc.. Yet we  blindly vote for them and waste our time and energy in criticizing petty criminals and officials. May God save my Bharath.

Sad story of Karnataka police. Why she was not arrested for so many years. She was not hiding, but was always available for the police, even when her husband was alive. Morally bankrupt police shows off its wickedness and inefficiency.

Once we gave a  chance  to the then bandit queen Polan Devi and she proved to be a leader in  politics. Let us give the same chance to Muthulaxmi expecting better future from her. Such people who know the darker side of  life  prove to be better performers. Give her a chance.Let us not blame her for past history.

A few things flash across our mind. Arresting a culprit is fine but why after four years? This is an opportunist attitude, making use of the law for ones own gain. Arrest after four years? Why? Why wasn't she arrested earlier, if she was an accomplice in the crime. Now has she threatened any politicians that she would reveal their secrets? Has she demanded some price for keeping quiet? The public needs to know the truth.

This woman committed several heinous crimes together with her husband. They have killed many bread winners of families and shattered their lives. The killed include government officials, forest officials and police officials. There should be no sympathy or mercy shown to this woman and she should be punished in accordance with the law. The politics behind this delayed arrest is a different matter altogether, but better late then never.

Whether Muthulakshmi committed crime or not but waiting for 4 years to arrest her is showing our police forces inability in doing their work promptly.

Nobody ever bothered to know how Mrs. Veerappan survived for the past 4 years without her husband, bringing up two daughters who were denied admission at a school (this was the last I heard about her). There are many more hideous criminals walking around freely in India who need to be arrested and locked up forever !!

To cover the inefficiency of the govt. & police force, it requires the scapegoat. The best person to nab by the authorities is Muthulakshmi, wife of Veerappan as the brand name of notorious forest brigand is still alive in the minds of Karnataka. What a shame. After 4 years of Veerappan's death they are arresting his wife Muthulakshmi. Definitely there is truth in between the lines as she only know who is real Veerappan. One never know this might be a death trap as she knows the truth who all politicians, mafia’s involved in looting the forest wealth. After all we are living in a world of politics which is nothing but filth.
