India, Pakistan trade fire on LoC

Jammu, Dec 8 (IANS): The Indian and Pakistani armies traded fire on the Line of Control (LoC) on Saturday in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district, a defence spokesman said.

"The Pakistan Army violated ceasefire at around 9 a.m., by resorting to unprovoked firing on the LoC in Sunderbani area," Defence Ministry spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Devender Anand said here.

"Indian positions retaliated effectively and there were no reports of casualty or damage from our side."
