I was one of the invitees to this Deci-ennial celebrations of Samanvaya run by two eminent priests Dr. Fr. Pius Pinto and Dr. Fr.Ronald Cutinha. Unfortunately I could not attend personally But I heard that the programme was very good. There was power-point presentation of the various social activities conducted during the last 10 years mostly serving the poor and downtrodden people who deserved help and guidance such as making them earn a daily living by teaching skills to ladies/girls in tailoring etc.and other similar activities including helping deserving students from poor families for vocational education/training. Both Fr. Pinto and Fr. Cutinha  are rendering yeoman's service to the cause of betterment of our Konkani culture and society. Kudos to them and their instituition they are running and I wish them all the best for achieving still more successes in future and help improve the standard of living in our society.

Dear friends, it is nice to hear about institutions excecuting constructive programs for the benefit of the poor and needy. It is apparent from the report the usually glittering Clergy is not part of this apparently revolutionary mission. Congratulations to its founders and workers. I am eager to know more about this mission.
