Mangaluru Dec 26: It is a shocker for the family, which is in dire straits, of 19-year-old Vijeth, who is battling out against a horrific life-threatening, blood related disease and in urgent need of 'Bone Marrow Transplant' to live a second life.

Vijeth (19), son of Ganesh Acharya, resident of Puttur Nekkilady, is pursuing third year engineering at Vivekananda College, Puttur. Vijeth was suffering from blood related disease, which has now turned severe and requires 'Bone Marrow Transplant' to save his life.

Vijeth's father is working as a carpenter and mother is rolling beedies for their livelihood and they cannot bear the huge expenses needed for the said procedure to save their son's life.

Parents of Vijeth, who have taken education loan also for his studies, are now stuck with another blow after their son Vijeth is diagnosed with this blood related disease and needs immediate medical procedure. The impoverished family of Vijeth is in need of Rs 30 lac to save his life.

Vijeth is a brilliant student and has the dream of becoming an engineer. However, as the disease struck him, he will be unable to attend the exams in the month of January as he is undergoing treatment in the hospital. Vijeth's family, which could not afford the expenditure of the private hospital treatment, has now shifted him to the government hospital to continue the same.

The doctor, who treats Vijeth, has recommended for the 'Bone Marrow Transplant' which needs to be done at Narayana Hrudayalaya Bengaluru that costs Rs 30 lac.
