Mangaluru: Bike hits truck, 21-year-old rider dies

Mangaluru Dec 26: A man died after he met with an accident near Canara Workshop in Bikarnakatte on Wednesday, December 26.

Vijeth Rao (21), hailing from Perampalli, Udupi, has been identified as the deceased. He was working as a chartered accountant. He was on his way to office from his room located in Adyar, when the mishap took place.

It is said that KTM bike bearing registration number KA 20 TJ 8700 tried to overtake a container truck bearing registration number KA 19 AA 5805 before banging into it.

Seriously injured rider was taken to a private hospital where he died after he failed to respond to treatment. 

Kadri traffic police have registered the case.
