Belagavi, Dec 26: Newly inducted minister Satish Jarkiholi said that none of the unsatisfied Congress MLAs, including Ramesh Jarkiholi will desert Congress and the government is also secure.

Satish, who arrived to the city for the first time after assuming the position of minister, was given a grand welcome by his supporters. Speaking to the media he said, "This kind of dissent is common when there is an extension or restructuring of the cabinet. However, it is not right to say that there is danger for the stability of the government. There is no such scare to the government.

"Ramesh Jarkiholi might have got dejected as he has lost the ministership. However, it is a lie that he is going to resign from his MLA position. I have not been able to make contact with Ramesh so far. However, I will speak to him soon. The senior leaders of the party also will speak to him," added Satish.

Satish Jarkiholi further clarified and said, "It is a blatant lie, spread by the BJP that the government is going to get toppled in a matter of six months. The government will not fall down as the BJP says. All our MLAs are united. The government will complete its full term of five years. There are certain issues in the politics of the district. All those issues will be sorted out after discussing the same with the leaders of the district. We will face the Lok Sabha elections unitedly."
