Mumbai, Dec 20: The annual day celebrations of Bharat Bank Staff Welfare Club was held recently at the Fine Arts Society, Chembur. 
 
Bharat Co-Operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited former chairman and Billava Association president Jaya C Suvarna was the chief guest while new chairman Vasudev Kotian was the guest of honour on the occasion.
 
Suvarna said that our day-to-day tasks would go smoothly if we developed worthy thoughts in life.  We can conquer the world through loving, friendliness, and kindness, he said.

Kotian said that the Billava Association has grown stronger both socially and economically due to the foresight and organizational expertise of Suvarna who had taken the Bank to excellence. Moreover, the honest service of its employees, board of directors, senior officers, and the support of its customers, would take the Bank to greater excellence in the coming days, he hoped.
 
Bank deputy chairman Rohini Salian, Sukhanand Kukyan, M B Kukyan, Jyoti K Suvarna, Shekar M Kotian, S K Kotian, Ratan Umesh Sanil, L V Amin, M B Sanil, Pushpalata N Salian, Shankar D Poojary, Rohitaksha M Suvarna, Raja V Salian, Y Nagesh, Mohandas G Poojary, and J V Kotian, were present on the dais.
 
Nritya Vaibhav, a dance recital by Bank employees and their talented children, was staged as part of the cultural programmes. 
 
Bank Staff Welfare Club president and CEO J C Poojary, delivered the keynote address.
 
Billava Association honorary chief secretary Nityanand D Kotian and Vivek Shanbagh compered the programme.  Honorary chief secretary Janardan M Poojary proposed the vote of thanks.
