KCA Nallasopara Organizes Christmas Celebrations

Mumbai, Dec 22:
The Konkani Catholic Association (KCA) Nallasopara organized Christmas celebrations on Sunday December 21, at St Francis De Sales school auditorium, Central Park, Nallasopara (East).
 
A KCA musical concert was held with popular Konkani, Hindi, and Marathi hit songs as well as mimicry and dance. Mimicry by Zee TV artiste Monthu, Hindi songs by award winner Pooja and Konkani musicians, all enthralled the audience. The  St Francis De Sales parish choir group sang Christmas carols and displayed an illuminated Christmas tree.
 
St Francis De Sales parish priest and KCA advisor Fr Gerson D’Souza presided over the programme. Canara Konkani Association Borivali president George D’Souza was the chief guest on the occasion. 
 


Vasai Vikas Mandal president Raju Nana Patil was the guest of honour. Local social worker Afzal Sheikh, St Francis De Sales school principal Fr Robert D’Souza, Dhyan Ashram director Fr Melvyn D’Souza, Fr Rosario D’Souza, Fr Richard D’Souza, Fr Philip S, Mary G D’Souza and others were present on the dais.
 
KCA president Harry Coutinho, vice-president Gracy Pinto, treasurer Alwyn F D’Souza Shirva, organizing committee member Lilly Quadros, Evnis D’Souza, Mary Veigas, John Alva, Leena Lobo, Claude D’Silva, Leena Pereira, Richard D’Souza, Violet Moraes, and Laveena Dias, welcomed the dignitaries with flower bouquets.
 
Franacis Franky D’Souza and group delivered the welcome hymn.  Fiolla D’Souza compered the musical concert and KCA secretary Patrick Frates proposed the vote of thanks.
