Vasai West: Berampur St Gonsalo Garcia Church Bathes in Christmas Fervour

Mumbai, Dec 25: St Gonsalo Garcia Church, Berampur, Vasai West is the newly built church located near the Bishops House. Though the church is scheduled to get inaugurated on January 14 2009, all the liturgical services are held in the partially completed church. Most of the parishioners here are Konkani speaking people. Vasai Diocesan priest serves this parish.



Christmas services in this church started yesterday night at 10.30 pm with the singing of Christmas carols inside the church. The solemn mass followed thereafter. Parish priest Fr Powkar was the main celebrant.
