Mandya: Madhe Gowda Attacked; Involvement of BJP Activists Suspected

Mandya, Dec 30: Senior politician G Madhe Gowda was allegedly attacked by activists of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at Gandhi Memorial Hall in Maddur on Tuesday December 30.
 


Miscreants also vandalized the window panes and furniture in the Hall and a car belonging to Gowda. It is said that the attack was carried out because of his alleged campaigning against BJP candidate Thammanna in Maddhur assembly constituency.

JD(S) candidate Kalpana Siddaraju won from this constituency. Gowda urged the government to take stringent action against the miscreants.
 
Meanwhile, JD(S) supremo HD Deve Gowda condemned the attack and warned of staging a protest in front of chief minister Yeddyurappa’s house on Wednesday December 31, in case the administration failed to arrest those responsible, immediately. He also termed the attack as humiliatory.

    This is my reply to Mr. Vendant Rao Hello, do you know the cause Mr. Madhegowda fought for. Dont ever compare Mr. Madhegowda with cunning politician Ramakrishna Hegde. If one can throw a stone at him he is capable of replying it with hundred stones. Dont ever try to talk bullshit without knowing the essence of a person.

    JDS is making a big issue of this. Didn't HD's son throw sandles at Ramakrishna Hegde, wasn't that shamefull. This is a waste of time. I think any Dharna in front of the CM's house should be dealt with strongly, to whichever party the CM belongs to. We as citizens have to allow them to function. Folks let us get rid of all these old timers, everone will get old one day, these guys in their heyday's did nothing much. I do not respect them.

    very sad. If Gowda is going to hold a Dhrana infront of CM's house then definitely Gowda is not going to waste time. He will have a nice sleep there also. Can some one arrange bed and pillow for him

    What a shameful act how come some one behaving with rude behavior and police is not taking any action because of BJP in power and act done by BJP people this is not good for Govt if you don’t respect senior citizen result will be horrible in future don’t fiorget remember what happened in Tamil Nadu couple of years back with present Chief Minister?
