Srikrishna Vittala Foundation Performs Sahasra Nalikera Modaka Maha Ganapati Yaga

Mumbai, Jan 4: Srikrishna Vittala Foundation (Regd), which has been working for the religious and social service causes in the metropolitican city, organized its 11th annual celebrations at the Admar Math located in Andheri (West) here on the morning of Sunday January 4. On the occasion, Ashtottara Sahasra Modaka Maha Ganapati Yaga coupled with Mahavishnu Sahasra Namarchane and Ashottara Shata Nalikera oblation, was performed under the guidance and leadership of the founder of the Foundation, Vidwan Kairabettu Vishwanat Bhat.



After offering prayer to the Lord in the morning, programmes like Swasti Vachana, Punyaha Vachana, Ritvigvarana, Kunda Samskara, Agni Janana, Mahasankalpa, administrating of 'Sankalpa' to the devotees, Mahamangalarati followed by community feast were arranged. The programmes which began early morning went on till evening. Madhwesha Bhajana Mandali of Pejawar Math and Sri Raghavendra Bhajana Mandal kept themselves busy with the chanting of Bhajans. Sri Ramadas and team provided saxophone accompaniment. Under the directions of Padmanabh Sasihithlu, Kalasaurabha Mumbai team rendered a programme of devotional songs.

 

Foundation founder Vidwan Kairabettu Vishwanat Bhat, general secretary Harish S Shetty, trustees K Sadanand Upadhyaya, Ramesh B Savant, Gopal S Putran, Kalathur Vishwanat Shetty, Avinash Shastry, joint secretaries Ramesh Shetty Kadandale, Suresh Shet and Harry Sequeira along the Foundation womens wing head Sunanda Upadhyaya, trustee members Laxminarayan Mucchintaya, Suma Vishwanat Bhat, Poornima Harish Shetty, Ashok Pakkala etc., were present.
