For the sins of others, the  poor lower ranked  cops paid the price. Catch the real culprits, who had ordered them to handcuff. Then it will really boost the police morale.

I completely agree with Mr. Aithal. Poor guys do not even nod their heads without the permission of their superiors for fear of transfers. How can they take such a big decision on their own? This is the height of eyewash.

The lower ranks in uniform become the victims  always. The higher ranked officers must be suspended because they orderd the constables to hand cuff the journalist.

Dear DGP Shri Srikumar Finally you found the scapegoats in the form of two poor police constables. How can they handcuff anybody without the order of the higherups. Catch the top brass. Not the bottom levels. Please revoke the suspension of these two constables at the earliest.
