Kundapur: Local Businessman Shot Dead by Miscreants

Kundapur, Jan 14: In a breaking news received by daijiworld.com, it is believed that  two miscreants who arrived on  a motor bike near Shastri Circle, Kundapur shot and killed  a man on the late evening on Wednesday, Jan 14, 2009.

The victim was later identified as  Subraya Honnavarkar, a local businessman .

The reason for the shoot-out is not known, but the incident created panic in and  around the town.
Kundapur police rushed to the spot. They assured  daijiworld that  this incident is in  no way connected to any  communal feud.  It is suspected to be a case of personal rivalry or a money related matter.

    Thats so sad.. Well the media highlighting this incident as not connected with Communal riots was a great welcome.. Hope media always tries to do the best and not evoke anger among the public..
