Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (RJP)

Bengaluru, Jan 30: Disgruntled Congress MLA from Athani , Mahesh Kumthalli , has gone to Mumbai to meet his mentor Ramesh Jarkiholi, it is gathered.

Mahesh Kumthalli is one of the four MLAs who did not attend the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting when it was called amid threat to the coalition government. He had received show-cause notice for the same from Congress. Before this he was in Mumbai. It was said then that he was in touch with BJP.

Kumthalli had appeared suddenly on January 24 in Athani and held talks with Congress leaders and workers throughout night. On the day of Republic Day, he had participated in the programme and unfurled the tricolor. But then he had walked out during the function.

It is not known when Kumthalli left for Mumbai, but sources say he has reached there.

Only tough 'Anti-defection law' can save the democracy of India which is in great danger of 'operation Kamala'. If MLA cannot respect the voter's mandate then he should better resign and quit politics. From jumping one party to another will not serve the interest of the nation.

What is all this?? We have some xhit daily with regard to the alliance. Hiding in a Resort, CM crying, CM challenging, CM threatening, Siddu assaulting a woman, Dodda Gowdru saying his too old. Come on. Its better to have presidents or Governers rule and then have re-elections.

Kick the fellow out of the Congress party without wasting any time. He is selfish and self-centered. His only aim as an MLA is to promote and feed his own self and ego. The sooner he is kicked out, the better for the grand old party and the people of his constituency, who elected him to serve the people and not to do political gimmicks. Kick him out of the party quickly.
