Bengaluru, Feb 1: Bad blood continues to flow between the coalition partners, Congress and JD(S), in the state. Leader of Congress legislature party, Siddaramaiah, has complained to All India Congress Committee president, Rahul Gandhi, about the unacceptable conduct of JD(S). 

On Wednesday, Rahul had convened an urgent meeting of Karnataka state leaders at New Delhi to take stock of recent political developments in there.  Siddaramaiah told Rahul that JD(S) has been trying to blackmail Congress leadership. "Being the chief minister, Kumaraswamy is expected to take all the legislators into confidence during the functioning of the government. It is but natural for Congress legislators to feel neglected if they are overlooked," he reportedly said. 

Siddaramaiah said that although Congress has 80 MLAs, the chief minister is in the habit of taking unilateral decisions. "How can the legislators tolerate if officials from their constituencies are transferred without their knowledge? Those who want me to control my MLAs should respond to the demands of MLAs," he reportedly explained. 

Siddaramaiah pointed out that although JD(S) has only a few MLAs, the post of the chief minister had been given to that party. He feels that JD(S), which is still dissatisfied, wants everything to move as per its own whims.
