Bengaluru, Feb 2: Chief minister HD Kumaraswamy hit out at the Centre by asking if the Interim Budget 2019-20 was prepared by officials of the Finance Department or the people from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
He made the remarks on Friday, February 1 after the Interim Budget was presented in Parliament by acting finance minister Piyush Goyal.
While recalling that when he announced the loan waiver scheme, the PM had mocked it as ‘lollipop’, Kumaraswamy said “But Prime Minister has offered cotton candy for farmers. Friends of BJP have prepared this budget.”
