Kuwait: KCWA to celebrate Konkani Diwas on Feb 15

Kuwait, Feb 3: Kuwait Canara Welfare Association (KCWA) will celebrate ‘Konkani Diwas’ on Friday, February 15 at 11 am in Carmel School, Khaitan, Kuwait. The full-day event will bring out talents of Konkani people and students of ‘MaiBhas’ class.

The day will also highlight the rich and vibrant Konkani culture of coastal Karnataka. One can taste the authentic Mangalurean delicacies at the venue.

KCWA has planned various competitions for the day and the event is open to all Konkani speaking people residing in Kuwait.

Online registrations for the competitions can be done on kcwakuwait.org , the online portal of KCWA. The last date to register is February 8.

Roce sambhram, voveyo, gumta, rib-tickling jokes, skits, dances, songs, entertainment from MaiBhas class students, cultural presentation from Mangalurean, Goan, Karwar Konkani groups/associations will be the added attraction.

KCWA requests all Konkani speaking people in Kuwait to make use of this opportunity and be a part of this unique event.
