Mangaluru: Devotees take part in 'Ammanedege Namma Nade' procession

Mangaluru, Feb 3: Scores of devotees joined on Sunday, February 3 ‘Ammanadege Namma Nade’, a walk that was organised by Kateel Padeyatre Samithi from Maravoor to
Kateel.

This is the sixth year of the padeyatre. Scores of devotees had gathered at Maravoor to take part in this walk.

Priest of Kateel Durgaparameshwari temple Hari Narayana Asranna inaugurated the Padeyathre.



Thousands of people irrespective of age participated enthusiastically in the walk from Marvoor to Kateel. The walk was accompanies with prayers, bhajans and chende.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat, MLA Umanath Kotian, Harish Poonja, VHP Leaders Jagadish Shenava, Sharan Pumpwell, chairman of AJ hospital, Dr A J Shetty and others were present.
