Mangaluru, Feb 3: BJP is instigating violence under the pretext of giving protection to Hindu religion, alleged KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao.

The strong allegation was Rao’s reaction for recreating assassination of Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary on January 30 by the Akhila Bharat Hindu Mahasabha (ABHM).

Addressing media here on Sunday, February 3, Rao said, “Coalition government has set a goal to not allow BJP secure power again. Coalition government will select the candidates to Lok Sabha constituency with understanding.”

When asked about demands coming in for selecting candidates from Mandya, Rao said," Party has not yet selected any candidate for upcoming Lok Sabha election. Demands are constantly coming in from the leaders for the tickets; high command will take the final call on the selection about candidates for upcoming Lok Sabha elections.”

MLC Ivan D Souza, former minister B Ramanath Rai, former MLA Mohiudeen Bava and others were present.

    Good God loving friendly Hindus get blamed for a few ROWDY/GOONDA CHADDIS for creating
    mistrust and animosity in the Historically Friendly Calm and caring Society!
    BJP has created this unpleasant phenomenon constantly blaming (with mischief ) Christians and Muslims all along - thus creating acrimony.
    Christians and Muslims are a small minority!!!! Destroying their places of worship, their religious
    sentiments by GOONDAGIRI, destruction of property and decimating places of worship on the basis
    of Majority power! This is against HINDU TEACHINGS! Please Read Hindu Religious Literature - NO

    Where in those books you will find place/room for VIOLENCE! You will be denied MOCHSHA!

    Barely months before the Lok Sabha polls for 2019, a US intelligence report has warned that the ruling BJP at the Centre may incite ‘low-level’ communal violence to galvanize their supporter.
    “Parliamentary election in India will increase the possibility of communal violence if Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stirs up the Hindu nationalist themes,” said a report released by the US intelligence community.
    Stating that the BJP leaders may use nationalist campaign to galvanize their supporters, the report goes on to add : “BJP policies during Modi’s first term have deepened communal tensions in some BJP-governed states, and Hindu nationalist state leaders might view a Hindu-nationalist campaign as a signal to incite low-level violence to animate their supporters.”
    We have already seen how 'Sabarimala' case is manipulated by BJP for political gain. One of the highest risk states will be West Bengal and Assam.
    After Prime Minister Modi's visit last week, now UP CM Yogi wanted to give a speech in West Bengal to polarise the vote bank.
    Union Minister for skill development Ananat Kumar statement is very much an indication that BJP is making all preparation for another level of communal violence in Karnataka as well to woo majority vote bank.
    Dear Kannadigas, India's job status is one of the lowest in 45 years of India's history. Farmers who are feeding us promised Rs17/day wages and still force to suicide.
    We do not need Godhra or Muzzafarnagar in Karnataka to repeated. Be vigilant in coming weeks ahead of Lok Sabha polls.
    Save Karnataka from communal violence. Your wise thinking will save the nation.
