Various Kannadiga Organizations Pay Homage to K K Pai

Mumbai, Jan 22: Metro-based Jayasrikrishna Parisara Premi Samiti paid homage to the organization’s undivided Dakshina Kannada district honourary president Kalsanka Kamalaksha Pai (K K Pai), in a condolence meet held on Tuesday January 20 at Billava Bhavan, Santa Cruz (East).

Samiti founder Tonse Jayakrishna A Shetty and president Vishwanath U Mada showered flowers on the portrait of K K Pai while honourary chief secretary delivered the condolence speech.



Jayakrishna Shetty, expressing his heart felt condolences, said that Pai was an accomplished banker and educationist, and extended his expertise as advisor to the Samiti on various issues. He was an environmental conservationist whose advise was ideal for future generations. 

Mada said that Pai was a man of determination, who supported the Samiti in its environmental endeavour. He was the motivational force for the Samiti, he added.

Samiti vice-president Jaya C Suvarna said that Pai was like a disciplined soldier and helpful in nature. His contributions to banking are vital in putting Manipal on the global map, he said.

Dharmapal U Devadiga, L V Amin, Sadanand D Nayak, Harry R Sequeira, joint secretaries Tonse Sanjeev Poojary and Ravi Mendon, and others were present on the occasion.

Christian Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Vincent Mathias, Karnataka Vishwakarma Association former president Nitte G T Acharya, Billava Association vice-president Y Nagesh, Rajapura Saraswat Samaj president Sadanand D Nayak, Ganiga Samaj Seva Sangh former president Ramachandra Ganiga, Bhandary Seva Sangh president Balakrishna P Bhandary, Federation of Mumbai’s Canara Catholic Associations president Norbert L Fernandes, Bharat Co-Operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited chairman Vasudev R Kotian, entrepreneur Sankabail Manjunath Adapa, P V Bhaskar, Kannada Sangh Santa Cruz Shivaram Kotian, Shyam N Shetty, Balakrishna K Shetty, Ram Mohan Balkunje, and others paid homage to the departed soul.
