Bengaluru: Operation Lotus aborted - dissident legislators return from Mumbai

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Feb 13: Ramesh Jarkiholi, who led four dissident MLAs who were holed up in Mumbai and planning to preempt the fall of the state government by joining hands with the BJP, and K R Pet MLA, Narayana Gowda, who it was claimed, had been kept in confinement by the BJP, came back to the city. They reached the airport here at midnight on Tuesday.

JD(S) MLA, Narayana Gowda, was the first to reach the airport. He was received by minster, Sa Ra Mahesh, and MLA, Shivalinge Gowda.

Ramesh Jarkiholi

Ramesh Jarkiholi, who has serious grouse against the party leaders, reached the airport later. He refused to speak to the media persons. It is learnt that the other three disgruntled Congress legislators and two independent MLAs too have come back to the city.

Narayana Gowda, speaking to media persons on his arrival from Mumbai, dismissed the notion that he had fallen prey to BJP's Operation Lotus. He said that there is no question of his migrating to BJP. Referring to his abduction rumour, he questioned whether the media people think any of the BJP leaders have the courage to touch him. I was admitted into a Mumbai hospital because of ill health. I have no complaints. "I was in touch with the chief minister and Sa Ra Mahesh," he clarified.

Mahesh said that all the legislators who were in Mumbai have reached the capital city and that he was yet to establish contact with all of them.   He said that his party has brought back MLA, Narayana Gowda, adding that Gowda had already spoken to the chief minister the previous day. He said that Gowda would be meeting the chief minister on Wednesday morning.

Congress must sack them since they are returning after losing the game and plot! Will they get BJP seat if they are sacked? Asnotikar story to be repeated...na ghar ka, na ghaat!! Even if they get BJP ticket people will not support them! This should be end of their political career for participating in the game of greed and wealth!!

Never play with the family members as each member of the family, knows the moves of other members too. Always birds of the same feather flock together.

For the time being, operation Kamala failed. Appreciate CM, Siddu and DKS for their strong leadership.

These MLA' s chose INC tickets, got approval of voters and won.
After winning, evil powers started tempting them, again and because of their greed for power and unprincipled life. THEY SUCCUMBED to temptation and got thoroughly exposed.

Its not celebration time guys. ! What ever it is, its not a good news for the coalition. Every day we have a drama. Either its Yeddy doing something OR Siddu creating nuisance and running to Cong high command for complaining OR the Gowda family throwing tantrums OR Kswamy crying OR someone running to a resort. It has shown the Ktaka leadership in poor form . It has also reflected how vulnerable any ghatbandan is. How long will this fiasco continue. ? It looks like sooner of later the Govt may fall, either before or after elections, The non Congi parties will utilise this 'coalition saving ' drama to their max in their campaigning.

Are these fit to represent their respective constituency or they have any respect with Indian Constitution. What ever it may be, public force them to resign from the post and appeal the govt or re-election. Then only all these corrupt criminal jockers will understood the power of mandate.
Whether they are the tail of Siddaramayya, or the tail of Yediyurappa or the tail of Kumaraswamy.
Doesn't matter, they all must respect on our mandate and if they have interest to work has a public servant let them or quit the post i/o fooling the public and enjoying with our tax money.

For what type of decease all are facing why all together went to Mumbai. And came back same day.
Is any politicians have guts and ready to open their mouth comment on this incident.

TIme of election don't look about the party always choose a qualified, capable ,sincere and corrupt less candidate Or it is like hitting your own stomach.
So better to aware all political leader to be sincere with their responsibility i/o of dirty dance.

They have to dump this black spot who brings bad luck always.
He is center of humiliation for the party.
Yddduji, if your only goal & dream is to become CM by hook or crook, you will never achieve it.

Yeddy may not have so much influence in Coastal Karnataka. But has strong influence in Northern Karnataka. One of the main reason why Yeddy is still Karnataka BJP party President is because of his influence with the voters.

Educated Kannadigas still support as they are "Andh Bhakts" of Jailbird Yeddiyurappa and Chowkidaar, Chaiwalla(then) and now Chor Modi( the Murderer of Democratic Institutions) For Andh Bhakts everything starts with riligion and cow because for them no other agenda when it comes to progress and development while defending their failures of 55 months of misery! Elections come and go but who is the able candidate to deliver the development agenda still remains a question marks for educated and progressive India
