Vijayapura: ABVP activists' immoral rowdism - professor forced to apologise for ‘anti-BJP’ post

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (DC)

Vijayapura, Mar 3: A group of ABVP activists have come under social media wrath for indulging in immoral rowdism by forcing a college professor to kneel and apologise for criticising the BJP-led union government in his Facebook post.

According to reports, the college professor works at an engineering college run by Bijapur Lingayat Development Education Society and owned by home minister M B Patil.

The professor in his two separate Facebook posts had taken the ruling BJP and the right-wing activists to task. He had also praised Pakistan PM Imran Khan for his stand during the escalating tension between India and Pakistan. "Who sound more intelligent in all this? You...bhakts. You will be the reason for destruction of millions of lives if this tension escalates. BJP...absolutely zero shame," he had posted.

The posts have been deleted after the ABVP activists indulged in immoral rowdism. The right-wing activists forced the professor to kneel and apologize to ABVP and the BJP activists for his social media posts.

They have also demanded the college authorities to suspend the professor. They alleged that the home minister must take action against the professor for his anti-India post. As per the video that has gone viral, the immoral rowdism took place at the presence of a police constable and college authorities.

In the video, the visibly disturbed professor is seen kneeling down and apologising for his 'mistake' with folded hands. He was also forced to say that he would not do such act in future.

The police have not yet taken any action against the right-wing activists nor the professor as there was no complaint filed in this regard. They have also clarified that no suo-motto case will be registered in this case.

The college principal Prof V P Huggi confirmed that an order will be issued on Tuesday in this regard, when the college reopens.

INDIANS (who loves India from Heart not on social media) should find out a suitable medicine for this decease...

Better to give medication at the early stage of Cancer. Chances are very less to cure when it spread whole body.

He criticized a political party which is currently in power and NOT the nation.

By the way criticism of parents and professors is allowed in a democracy. However as part of our culture and upgringing we do not do so. If you do it or support it , it goes in to prove your culture, regards for the nations constitution or upgringing.

This happened in Karnataka where chorbandhan coilation is ruling. If the act done is illegal why the Govt is not taking any action against so-called activist. So it is clear that what is going on is correct as per State Govt. If you have guts file a case against activist or state govt for action or lack ofaction

There is nothing wrong in professor's social media post.
However, these sanghis would prove one day that there isn't another terror group which is so large in numbers.
During Veer Abhinandan's capture in Pakistan many Pakistanis came out on streets in support of him. Think if vice versa similar thing happens on Indian soil, all will be called as desh drohis by these same bhakhts.
