Kalaburagi: Shah will decide on admission of other party MLAs - Ravikumar

Kalaburagi, Mar 4: "Prime minister (PM), Narendra Modi, would be arriving here on March 6. At 11.30 am that day, he would be interacting with selected beneficiaries of 'Ayushman Bharat' scheme," explained state BJP general secretary B N Ravikumar.

Ravikumar said that the PM will come to the city from Bidar air base at 10.40 am. "He will take part in an official programme of the central government. At 12 pm, he will address a convention of party workers at N V Ground. Lacs of party workers from Bidar, Kalaburagi and Yadagiri will take part in the convention," he explained, addressing a press meet here on Sunday March 3.

Referring to media reports about four MLAs from other parties joining BJP in the presence of the PM, he termed the information as media speculation. He said that admission of legislators of other parties would be decided by the national president of the party. He also said he is ignorant about MLA, Dr Umesh Jadhav, joining the BJP at at the rally proposed to be addressed by Modi.

He accused MP Mallikarjun Kharge, of being responsible for Hyderabad Karnataka region lagging behind in development. He also lampooned Congress leaders including Kharge of developing cold feet after learning about Modi's arrival in the state.
