Bengaluru, Mar 5: A tragic accident between KSRTC Airavat bus and Scorpio car took away the lives of five people in the car here on Tuesday, March 5.
The accident took place near Yantaganahalli in Nelamangala taluk.
The deceased were three men, one woman and a female child all of them belonging to one family.
All of them were traveling in the car approaching from Hassan. It is said that the bus on its way from Bengaluru to Mangaluru via Hassan collided with the Scorpio car on Hassan national highway.
There were 35 passengers in the bus. Some of them sustained minor injuries.
Bengaluru Rural superintendent of police Sujit visited the accident spot and conducted investigations.
