In the meanwhile, the special court for people's representatives here issued non-bailable warrant for the arrest of Dr Shivaraj Patil, BJP MLA representing Raichur constituency. Patil has been facing a case relating to furnishing of false information to the election commission when filing his nomination papers relating to his property details. The warrant was issued on Thursday.

The court decided to issue non-bailable warrant as the MLA has been repeatedly absenting from court hearings since long. The case has now been fixed for hearing on March 16.

What is there for checking regarding resignation. He doesn't owe anything to Govt. Speaker acting as per tunes of his masters. How we can have faith in the speaker who belongs to the chaddiless?
What happened to several cases pending against the speaker and his name has cropped up in the latest audio tape
On moral (if he has any) ground he has to step down immediately till the audio tape case is cleared

Deputy Conservator of Forests had done a joint survey in 2011 and submitted a detailed final report confirming the encroachment of forest land. Alleged encroachment of 61 acres falls within forest land at Jagalkunte forest area in Kolar district. The total worth of the grabbed land in Karnataka, going by the guidance value, was a whopping Rs. 1,95,000 crore and this was the biggest scam in India, more than the Spectrum 2G scam and illegal mining scam put together. Nonsense....?
