Udupi: Banner of Cong president Rahul Gandhi vandalized in Kalsanka

Udupi, Mar 8: A banner that was put up at Kasanaka for the Parivarthana Yatra and district level conference of the Congress activists, which had the photo of Rahul Gandhi on it was vandalized by miscreants.

These posters were put for the Congress party Samavesha event that is going to be held on Sunday, March 9 at Kalsanka junction. The Congress workers have urged the police to trace and arrest the culprits immediately.

Congress party has organized the Parivartana Yatra in order to convey the pro-people programmes of the party as well as a prelude to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Former chief minister and president of the Samanvaya committee, Siddaramaiah, KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao, working president Eshwar Khandre, AICC secretary Vishnunathan, Senior leaders of the Congress party Oscar Fernandes, Veerappa Moily, B K Hariprasad, ministers U T Khader, former ministers Ramanath Rai, Vinay Kumar Sorake, Pramod Madhwaraj, president of Mahila Congress of Karnataka, Pushpa Amarnath, former MLAs Gopal Bhandary, Gopal Poojary, Udupi district in-charge G A Bava, leaders Rakesh Mailli, Udupi district president Ashok Kodavoor, all office bearers of district Congress, all people representatives and representatives of local bodies will participate in this crucial event.
