Mangaluru: KSRTC vigilance officials raid city divisional office

Mangaluru, Mar 10: A team of officials of the Bengaluru central vigilance office of KSRTC raided the office of Mangaluru divisional controller of KSRTC on March 8.

It is learnt that this operation was conducted jointly by Laxman and the officers of the Mysuru division under the direction of Lingaraju, chief officer of KSRTC vigil and security department. The team has confiscated the files pertaining to Hassan section as per the information received through sources.

It is said that the divisional controller Yashwant Kumar got transferred from Hassan to Mangaluru and no new recruitment is done in his place in Hassan. It is learnt that he was also handling the files pertaining to Hassan section, though he is transferred to Mangaluru. As per the sources, the raid is conducted following a complaint in this regard.
