Bengaluru, Mar 10: The meeting of BJP MLA Shivanagowda Nayak with Ramesh Jarkiholi, Congress MLA and leader of the rebel group of Congress MLAs, has given rise to huge speculations in the political circles of the state.
The discussion between Shivanagowda and Ramesh lasted 30 minutes. It is said that BJP is trying to offer the Chikkodi Lok Sabha ticket to Ramesh Jarkiholi.
It is said that B S Yeddyurappa met BJP national president Amit Shah on March 8 in Delhi and had discussion with regards to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The talk included the matter of wooing Ramesh Jarkiholi to BJP also.
It is learnt that BJP has prepared the list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. Excepting the constituencies where there are sitting BJP MPs, the party is continuing its search for candidates for the other constituencies. It is said that the attempt to woo Ramesh Jarkiholi is also in the same line of strategy of the party.
