Udupi: Let Modi come for open debate with me on development: Siddaramaiah

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi(HB/DC)

Udupi, Mar 10: "Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is a partner in corruption. ‘Chaukidar Chor hai’," said former chief minister and senior Congress leader Siddaramaiah during Parivarthana Yathra organized by Udupi district Congress committee, at Royal Garden Kalsanka here on Sunday, March 10.

In the rally organised in order to convey the pro-people programmes of the party as well as a prelude to the upcoming Loka Sabha elections, Siddaramaiah said, "Now where is Acche Din? Let Modi present figures and data of development works and sanctioned funds in five years. When he came to Karnataka, he never spoke about his promises made prior to 2014 polls. Now the unemployment rate has increased up to 7.2%. Modi could give jobs only to 27 lac youth. I am in politics since last 40 years. But I never saw such a liar in my service. This election is not between two parties, but it is for the survival of democracy, Constitution of India and for truth."

Siddaramaiah challenged Modi for a open debate and said, "Let Modi come and I will also join. We will discuss about progress and developmental activities of our two parties. But the truth is, Yeddyurappa and Shobha Karandlaje are not ready to come for this debate. Shobha Karandlaje’s contribution to the coastal region is zero. ‘What has she done for her constituency?", he asked.

"Modi kept open the doors of banks only for rich people. BJP set fire in three districts intentionally. There are killers in BJP and provoke others to murder. Some BJP politicians were saying that ‘they will change democracy if they come to power. But, everything should be within the limits of Constitution of India."

"If Rahul Gandhi becomes the Prime Minister, he will re-implement 33% reservation for women and all farmers debts will be waived off in one phase. BJP belongs to Hitler's family. They do not have concern for farmers. People should choose Congress to save democracy. It is 100% sure that Congress party will win Lok Sabha elections and Rahul Gandhi will become the Prime Minister of India," he added.

KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao said, “Modi fooled people with his speeches. Public was expecting big changes, but nothing happened. BJP do not want to discuss what they did in five years. BJP lied to everyone. We do not have the intention of talking bad things about Modi, but his fake promises made us talk.

“The prime minister did not allow the release of statistical track record of Modi government, which was prepared by statistics council.

“BJP is playing politics in the name of God and religion. Demonetisation was heights of craziness. Because of this policy, many small industries lost their existence and youths become jobless.

“They used Paresh Mesta’s demise as a political weapon, but now forgotten him. What happened to the CBI investigation? BJP does not want to disclose the truth. We bow our head to the work done by Indian Air Force. But please do not use it for political gaining and to hide your failures.

“If Modi was really a Chowkidar of India, how did Pulwama attack take place? Is this the reality of being ‘Chowkidar’? Being a prime minister, he is supposed to create a feeling of oneness among public. Today there is a atmosphere of fear. The number of murders is increased in five years.

“Winning Chikkamagaluru constituency is not an easy task. But let Congress party workers work together in order to help the Congress candidate win. If people want to get social justice, we need to send BJP home,” he said.

Dr Jayamala, district in charge minister Udupi said, “There is a close relationship between India and Congress. The current union government is not concerned about women and farmers. They had given many false promises to women. Let them tell what they did for farmers in waiving loans. People have seen administration of five years of the BJP government. Now it is time to change the government. More than 6.5 lac villages developed during the Congress’ regime. Only 18,000 villages saw development during the BJP government’s tenure.

Former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake said, “BJP is a violent party, and that we learnt by the twin murders that took place in Kota. BJP's zilla panchayat member is allegedly involved in this case. To protect democracy, this Loka Sabha election is important and for that Modi must be shown the door.”

AICC secretary Vishnunathan, senior leaders of the Congress party Oscar Fernandes, B K Hariprasad, minister U T Khader, former minister Pramod Madhwaraj, president of Mahila Congress of Karnataka, Pushpa Amarnath, former MLAs Gopal Bhandary, Udupi district in-charge G A Bava, leaders Rakesh Mailli, Udupi district president Ashok Kodavoor, all office bearers of district Congress were present.

If the PM has to debate with every loser of the RS elections, then he will have to open a call center.
Fro the time being Siddu should debate with the candidate against whom he lost by 80K votes in his home constituency. If he qualifies then he can move one step forward. Till such time he can just remain in his current portfolio as peon for Mrs & Mr HDK.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi keeps claiming historical firsts. However, the one thing he can genuinely claim as a real first is the fact that he is the first prime minister in democratic India to never have held a press conference.

Modi used to mockingly call his predecessor Dr. Manmohan Singh “Maun Mohan Singh”, but he has beaten Singh in his bid to take away the meta-institutional respectability of a free press.

The Modi government, which has virtually centralized all power in the PMO, has the worst track record in replying to RTI questions – there is 80℅ increase in RTI queries rejected without reason under this PMO.

This clearly is a PM who truly believes that he is above institutional scrutiny whether from the media or citizens.

Modi prefers a one-way dialogue with his Twitter handles, his NAMO app and his radio monologue “Mann Ki Baat“. The trouble is that no questions are tolerated or allowed in this one way spiel.

Interestingly, Modi only dislikes free media. More so, a few cheerleader channels, described by former BJP leader Arun Shourie as “North Korean channels”, who devote all their time to attacking and holding the opposition to account, as well as propaganda websites which have come up under Modi’s regime, are flourishing directly and are even indirectly funded by the BJP.

PM Modi has mute the button for open debate on the development of the nation. He is the first PM terrified of holding even a single press conference in the neutral avenue represented by International and national unbiased media.

Let Modiji, accept the open challenge of debate without looking into the written speech on development from 'teleprompter'.

This is what I like, Siddhu speaks to all media and journalist with out any fear, replies to all queries and challenges opposition and central Govt to come for debate on development. Siddu does not bring religion in his work, for him work is God / Dharma, According to him when you have finished working, take your family and go to temple / church / masjid and worship your God, that's it.

Where as Modi and his team - whenever they have been asked question about development they will answer we have taught a lesson to Pakistan. Listen to Modi's Man ki Baath. What congress has done in 60 years ? they have sold our country.
OK, we agree that congress did not do anything in 60 years, now You are in Govt. what you have done rather than making educated people to sell pakodas on the street and escorting all corrupt Billionaire Gujarathis and others till the airport to run away with the looted money.

You have got no agenda to speak other than god, cow, ganga , terrorist, kashmir, pakisthan, Pakoda, thats all you are.

Trust you will not fool people this time by saying, We still have your 15 laksh in our bank in safe deposit , we will give you with interest (total 20 lakhs) if you elect us this time also. we are serious this time, please vote us, if you do not have bank account open the bank account today only.

Never had one corruption cases against to the achievement of Siddhu ,va known opportunist, could not re elected after one term as Chief minister and one of the most corrupt chief minister if Karnataka history

Siddu is not calling Modiji to stand for election against him but to talk about development. Please read what siddu said and what I wrote

All politicians are corrupt, it is childish to say that Modi is not corrupt.
Billionaire business men are not fools to accompany PM on all his trips to abroad.
Adani is not a fool to lend his private choppers to Modi and his team for free

Modi made Rafael deal with some one who does not know ABCD of the product
When Leading business firms form the world and India are fighting case against Anil Ambani in court because he could not manage his small business, Sr Modi gave him such a big project now even our Govt. cannot manage the blunder it made and misplaced the papers to but time to fool people.

if you think winning election is the main achievement of Modi then you need to change your thinking pattern brother.

Nidramayya can only challenge in Nidra but not in developments. CBI should check expensive gifts in his house and benami accounts /properties along with DSK. Karnataka development is due to IT companies. Nidramayya is double zero in front of our beloved chawkidaar. This time again chawkidaar will win with full majority.
