Mangalore: PPC College Emerges Winner at ETV Great Karnataka Dance League

Mangalore, Feb. 16: The grand finale of the Great Karnataka Dance League Finale organized by ETV   was held at St Aloysius college grounds on Sunday February 15.

Sandalwood siren Anu Prabhakar, talented actors Ramesh and Vijaya Raghavendra who were the chief guests, were indeed the special attraction of the function as people thronged in large numbers to meet their favourite cine-tars.

A total of 32 college teams from all over the state participated in the dance league. The teams were divided into eight zones.  After preliminary rounds, eight teams qualified for the exciting final.

In the nail-biting finale, Poornaprajna college team from Udupi won the first prize while Jawahar Pre-University from Raichur was the runners-up.

Actor Mandya Ramesh and Nandini compered the programme. Regional manager of ETV Subbaiah Naidu was also present on the occasion.

    congratulations ! I am from PPC 94 BSc batch and still remember our GARR gand won the 1st ever inter university dance competition. thats g8ness abt PPC... am remembering those golden moments !

    Whats happening at SAC? We used to never have all these events when we were studying. The grounds were not rented out to any outside functions. Sad to see all this happening.
