Matsyaganda Train Passengers Nab Thief

Mumbai, Feb 18:
The passengers of Matsyaganda express train, who started on their journey to Mangalore from Kurla Terminus at 2.09 pm on Monday February 16, nabbed a thief red-handed as he attempted to steal a passenger's luggage in broad daylight.

The thief was later handed over to the railway police at Thane.



Daijiworld correspondent who was traveling on Matsyagandha express at the time of the incident managed to click a few pictures.  
 
Many incidents of unwary passengers falling prey to ruthless thieves have been reported on this particular train. However, it is a first that the passengers themselves have apprehended a thief. 
 
It was believed that a group of 15 youth were involved in the incident. However, they all alighted and disappeared when the alarm was raised.
