Kasargod, Mar 14: AICC president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday March 14 visited the houses of slain Congress youth activists and consoled the family members.

Rahul arrived at Periya Kendra Vidyalaya helipad from Kannur and visited the house of the late Congress worker Kripesh. He assured support to the family members and also inspected the ongoing new house construction work.

Later, Rahul Gandhi visited the house of another deceased Congress worker Sharathlal.

Speaking to media persons, Rahul said, "We will fight until justice is done to the families of Kripesh and Sharathlal. We demand stringent punishment for the culprits. The Congress fully supports the families of the slain party workers."

Following Rahul's visit, Special Protection Group had provided tight security even barring media entry to the houses of slain Congress workers.

Former chief minister Ummen Chandy, opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala, KPCC president Mullapally Ramachandran, AICC secretary K C Venugopal and other Congress leaders were present.

Earlier, Gandhi spent around half an hour with the parents and sisters of slain activist Shuhaib at the Kannur international airport and extended the party's support to them, said party sources. Suhaib who served as the Mattannur Block Youth Congress secretary was hacked to death by his political rivals in February 2018.

Later, Rahul Gandhi headed towards Kozhikode.

You were a bhakth in the first place. A sane person can't say his "views changed" about Rahul and then write"har har modi ghar ghar modi" at the very next sentence! Btw I don't support anyone.
