Mangalore: District Information Officer Ramalinge Gowda No More

Mangalore, Feb 23: Senior information officer of Dakshina Kannada district H P Ramalinge Gowda breathed his last due to cardiac arrest, on the night of Sunday February 22. He was 57.

Reportedly, he suffered stroke at around 11.30 pm.  The end came before he could be admitted to the hospital, although immediate arrangements were made to take him to a hospital.  Hospital sources confirmed that it was too late.

Ramalinge Gowda, who spent 18 years of his professional life in the the information department here, is survived by wife and two children.
